Bruins give D Stuart multiyear extension (AP)

The Boston Bruins signed defenseman Mark Stuart, who played every game for the team last season, to a multiyear extension Tuesday. Stuart, the Bruins' first-round draft pick in 2003, had career highs of 82 games, four goals, four assists and eight points. He also played in the team's seven postseason games against Montreal.

The agent for cornerback Cortland Finnegan said Friday the Tennessee Titans cornerback has agreed to a two-year contract extension.
